giving back august. {charity: water}

this month's charity is charity: water.

they're a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. 100% of all public donations directly fund water projects. {100% is sooo fantastic, as most charities can't say that 100% of their profits go to charity.} you can donate to their cause, and just by giving $20 you help give clean drinking water to 1 person for 20 years!


they also have a store that has cute shirts and merch that you can buy to help with their operating costs.

food for thought: unsafe water & sanitation causes 80% of all sickness and disease, and kills more people than war.
