giving back july. {mae movement}

every month i'm going to showcase a charity that i think deserves some credit for being well... awesome.

this month is mae movement! they sell bracelets made by Nepalese women in the Katmandu Valley. Here's a little about this charity:

"Welcome to our collection of "Fair Trade" fine glass beaded bracelets from Nepal.
Lily and Laura Bracelets is the first collection in the Mae Movement line which is owned and operated by Haley & Dee Cairo. A portion of our proceeds will also help to sponsor local charities and causes through our commitment to fundraising and creating awareness. These glass beaded roll on bracelets represent over 900 colors and a variety of beads, from flat matte finishes to high gloss metallic's and iridescence. You can't help but love the sparkle, shimmer & shine that comes from each one! Our business is founded on practices and principals which supports and pays fair trade wages to our artisans. This improves the quality of their lives and creates opportunities to break cycles of poverty, neglect and abuse. All beading is done in the comfort of their homes or on rooftop decks during nice weather. Our friends in Nepal thank you for your support. " - mae movement

these are the ones I received... and these pictures do not do them justice at all.
